10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

10 Vả lại, anh em phải làm mạnh dạn trong Chúa, nhờ sức toàn năng của Ngài. 11 Hãy mang lấy mọi khí giới của Đức Chúa Trời, để được đứng vững mà địch cùng mưu kế của ma quỉ. 12 Vì chúng ta đánh trận, chẳng phải cùng thịt và huyết, bèn là cùng chủ quyền, cùng thế lực, cùng vua chúa của thế gian mờ tối nầy, cùng các thần dữ ở các miền trên trời vậy. 13 Vậy nên, hãy lấy mọi khí giới của Đức Chúa Trời, hầu cho trong ngày khốn nạn, anh em có thể cự địch lại và khi thắng hơn mọi sự rồi, anh em được đứng vững vàng. 14 Vậy, hãy đứng vững, lấy lẽ thật làm dây nịt lưng, mặc lấy giáp bằng sự công bình, 15 dùng sự sẵn sàng của Tin Lành bình an mà làm giày dép. 16 Lại phải lấy thêm đức tin làm thuẫn, nhờ đó anh em có thể dập tắt được các tên lửa của kẻ dữ.
17 Cũng hãy lấy sự cứu chuộc làm mão trụ, và cầm gươm của Đức Thánh Linh, là lời Đức Chúa Trời. 18 Hãy nhờ Đức Thánh Linh, thường thường làm đủ mọi thứ cầu nguyện và nài xin. Hãy dùng sự bền đổ trọn vẹn mà tỉnh thức về điều đó, và cầu nguyện cho hết thảy các thánh đồ.
